The beginning came in 1978 with the production of  mortars for archaeological and historical monuments. The deep study of the qualities of ancient and traditional building materials and techniques, led KOURASANIT to think different and create a wide range of products that are impressively durable, sustainable, 100% environmentally friendly and with high aesthetics.

KOURASANIT uses circular economy model in its production process. The company also operates according to the Japanese model JIT (Just In Time), which is production at the required time. In this way it processes each order at the given time, thus having zero defective products and unnecessary quantities to remain in warehouses.

By using natural materials and valuable ancient formulas, KOURASANIT has created a whole new world of construction, having both people and the environment at the center point. The traditional hydraulic mortars  which were used for centuries - from the  construction of the roman aqueducts/baths to the construction of Hagia Sophia in Istanbul - became our inspiration for building the future.
